This pattern is inspired by a time ancient inhabitants of Iberian Peninsula (Spain + Portugal) painted bisons in caves and rich cultures such as Tartessos flourished. Those were also the times when Hercules stole the cattle from king Geryon of Eritea (Gadeiras Archipel, present day Cádiz). The ox and the bull were a symbol of strength and virility. Bull sculptures were used on funerary monuments in Iberian art and live oxen were used in rituals where they were richly decorated.
