The eulalia blooms in profusion in the autumn, its head eventually turning white and withering. Eulalia patterns are found widely on clothing and accessories. The eulalia is offered to the moon goddess on the nights of the fifteenth of the eighth lunar month and the thirteenth of the ninth lunar month. Both these occasions are in the autumn; the fifteenth of a lunar month is the night of the full moon. The plant is also commonly arranged in vases and made an offering with chestnuts and persimmons. This is a design that draws inspiration from the rich heritage of Japanese traditional patterns. It celebrates the timeless beauty and elegance found in various aspects of Japanese culture, such as nature, art, and symbolism
