*I love the idea of sending my mom or special friends a real fabric envelope with my letter! How cosy and warm to receive one! They could save it for using again or to keep your letter forever. ***************************************************************** Get four envelopes; if you order on lightweight cotton twill. As it is wider. Instructions: these are unlined fabric envelopes. But I have created a matching material for them. Buy one fat quarter with envelopes and the matching fabric fat quarter to cut out a lining if wanted. Or just use some fabric you have on hand that would match the inside. Using the envelope as a template! We all have extra fabric. ;) But if you want a perfect color match use the one I created for it by purchasing that fat quarter separately. ***************************************************************** I sewed the lining on one with right sides together leaving bottom open to turn back out. Then top stitch on scallops and bottom. For no lining I just did a tight x stitch on scallops to look slightly frayed, and top stitched sides after turning sides twice to back. I will be checking with post office to determine how to put a stamp on it, cost of one etc and leave the information here later. ******************************************************************* Other links/videos on my "how to pages" . ( https://salzanos.blogspot.com/ ) Or: Just click my link here under my photo on Main page for Salzanos (here on Spoonflower.) It will take you to my blog spot pages. I have many videos on my cut and sew fat quarter projects there. A person could use fabric glue and not sew if wanted. I sewed two. One with a lining and the other no lining as seen in photo. The coordinating fabric called, “sentimental letters” is listed for sale now.
