Since I've been a portrait artist since 1989, I brought that knowledge of facial expressions to the project, too. I added anime touches to the eyes, cheerful colors, felt hats - all in transparent watercolors - all by hand! Colors are amethyst, butter-yellow, lavender purple, peach, pear green, rose, seafoam, and teal. Background has softly colored stripes of varied widths created in Photoshop.
