My new friend Phyllis asked me to play around with ideas centered around Frida Kalo. She wants to make a caftan top with it centered in the front. I think it would look stunning sewn on like a big patch with added decoration, sequins, beads, ric-rac maybe. I can't waite to receive my first sample, which which I am having printed on wall paper. I'm going to frame it and embellish it with ... don't know yet, maybe polished natural stones and beads, ribbon, lace and embroidery... the sky's the limit!
