I am, after all, a child of the 60's.
I still vividly remember my introduction to string art. I was in the 8th grade and in our math class we were using a needle and thread to create designs on our notebook paper. I was fascinated. That fascination played a part in the development of this design but there are also elements of a geometric and/or structural approach to the graphic arts. My husband sees this design as a prism or a kaleidoscope. At any rate, I fell in love with it when I saw it on the wallpaper and the duvet cover! Perhaps you will like it as well. I created it using the palette required for and Eastfork - Spoonflower challenge of 2023. The design was, however, not completed in time to be entered in the contest.
