Per https://symbolgenie.com/color-dark-cyan-symbolize/ - a dark cyan (blue-green) color like this is "often associated with harmony and euilibrium." Have a look at this reference and you will discover all sorts of interesting things about a dark cyan color! SOLIDS - SO BASIC! SO PRACTICAL!! Use them for minimalist decorating – for curtains, table linens, bed linens, wallpaper etc. Use them for clothing: blouses, shirts, skirts, slacks, dresses etc. Pair them with coordinating designs. Use them as trim when creating clothing. Use them for quilting: am Amish style quilt that is made completely with solids, in combination with florals – polka dots – stripes = etc.! i HAVE HUNDREDS OF SOLIDS IN MY SHOP, as well as textures, which are “almost solids.” They are divided into a number of collections, organized by color families. If you are on your computer, just go to my “Designed Collections” page and use the drop down menu. Type “solids” into that menu and it will pull up all of those collections for you. Here is the URL to my collection which contains aqua, turquoise, teal, etc. in case this is not quite the color you are looking for: https://www.spoonflower.com/collections/193456 Need a specific color pulled out of one of my designs? Just send me a message and I will be happy to do that for you. Thanks for stopping by my shop! Happy sewing! Mary Wykes – aka Maryyx NERDY DETAILS: Per colorhexa.com/004e51: "In a RGB color space, hex #004e51 is composed of 0% red, 30.6% green and 31.8% blue. Whereas in a CMYK color space, it is composed of 100% cyan, 3.7% magenta, 0% yellow and 68.2% black." The site's color description of this hex code is "very dark cyan." This means that it's base hue, or color family, is a saturated cyan. . Looking at this color within an Adobe PhotoShop digital color square, I am giving it a VALUE (LIGHT/DARK) SCORE of 4. This is because if I compare it to the pure aqua hue in the top right corner, it is very dark. I give it a CHROMA SCORE of 10 on a 1-10 scale because it is a strong color.
