About the Design

One test swatch 8” x 8” will make one quail stuffy.

Instructions 1. Ignore the feather headdress for now. cut out quail just outside the beige edge. 2. Place the 2 quails coloured side to coloured side and line up the edges (Place against a window to help see through), pin, then sew just barely inside the painted quail body, leaving the opening at the bottom. 3. clip at brown marks being careful not to cut through your stitches. 4. turn and examine your new friend, If all stitches look good and no beige is showing, then you can stuff him to your desired fullness using fill or rice. 5. Sew the opening closed with small invisible Stitches 6. Cut felt or craft foam or use a real feather to make a headdress (plume), then glue or hand stitch on, then sit him on the shelf or hang him by adding ribbon or mono filament. Don't forget to name him!
