Created in watercolor, this teapot, tea cup and bundt cake on a pink background is ideal for Jane-ites. Jane Austen loved tea so much that she was the only one who had the keys to the tea and sugar cupboard! At 9am every day, after piano practice, it was actually Jane's household job to brew tea for the whole family. In Regency times tea was the most popular English beverage and Jane Austen would have guarded the keys to the tea cupboard well since it was considered a valuable drink because of the importing costs at that time. A typical breakfast would have been Bundt cake, rich in eggs with a cup of tea.
