About the Design

'SMALL Ghost dragon scales by Su_G' (https://www.spoonflower.com/fabric/7507029): Dragon scales or mermaid tails or just a pretty pattern in ghostly greens and reds, after Fabergé. LARGER scale version: 'Ghost dragon scales by Su_G' (https://www.spoonflower.com/fabric/5938645) © Su Schaefer 2017 See more ‘after Fabergé’ designs by Su_G. (https://spoonflower.com/profiles/su_g?shop_selection=tag&tag=faberge) Printed so well on basic cotton ultra (but a tad more green than the blue of the design image - could vary on other fabrics so swatch recommended if precise color is important) - see the 6th thumbnail above (double click for a clearer view). The House of Faberge made jeweled and/or enameled eggs, mostly miniature, that were given as gifts at Easter. The most famous were the larger ones made for Alexander III and Nicholas II of Russia (known as the "Imperial" Faberge eggs). About 42 of the 50 eggs known to have been made have survived. [Wikipedia (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Faberge_egg)] See other designs by Su_G. (https://www.spoonflower.com/profiles/su_g?sort=freshtastic) Oil on canvas, after Fabergé, basic repeat. [Currently set @ Fabric: 500 ppi; Wallpaper: 400 ppi] [ SMALL scale is half the size of the original // Filename: soft-greens_blues_redsInvert1 // Proofed on Fabric @ 250 ppi - the original was proofed @ 200 ppi ]
