Dig those crazy beatniks with their berets, cool sun glasses, black clothing and bongos, poetry book, cigs, pipes, wine, cocktails, along with retro cats, 50's style furniture and accessories, 1950's motifs, record player, records, atomic age clock.....Be Cool, Daddy-O! Definition of beatnik: a person who participated in a social movement of the 1950s and early 1960s which stressed artistic self-expression and the rejection of the mores of conventional society; broadly: a usually young and artistic person who rejects the mores of conventional society.
