The text on the towel reads: Captured by pirate raccoons, tossed into the dinghy and headed toward tiny Wallace Island, Rosie shivered nervously as Tango barked bravely (and stupidly, Rosie thought to herself) at the ring-tailed bandits cavorting on Rosie’s beloved boat. Tango kept barking, demanding to be set free. Rosie felt afraid. Once the motley crew anchored in Conover Cove, the confused and rather alarmed raccoons pulled the dinghy to shore. “We were lonely and thought you might like to have dinner with us!” cried the raccoons. “Bark, bark,” replied Tango... the only words she knew when overwrought. Rosie ceased her shivers and perked up after hearing the word “dinner.” Fearlessly, Rosie jumped out of the dinghy to the sandy shore and asked politely for a plate. The raccoons, seeing Rosie as a true kindred spirit, built a huge bonfire and gathered clams, muscles and scallops from the cove. Rosie and Tango (once Tango stopped chasing the raccoons) settled in for the yummiest seafood dinner party they had yet attended. Best Day Ever.
